Well, I woke up sort-of late that day: Around 3 o' clock. I didn't think we were going anymore, since it was so late. (I've got to work on sleeping more early. ) But my mom and my sister started getting ready to go somewhere and in an hour the three of us were already in the car ready to go. Seeing the city on that beautiful day, priceless.

When we arrived, we parked near the Museums and we walked all the way to Grant Park. @_@;; The only part I enjoyed when walking was when we were walking along the lakeshore. Ohh the water was..Green-ish blue. lol But it was still nice looking at it. :3

I, myself, did not know where the Taste of Chicago was actually being held but we did end up finding it while walking. *didn't realize it was at Grant Park lol* I didn't try anything too extreme and had a Polish Sausage with a Cheesecake. xD; I didn't find this one Asian stand till I was full, but it was okay.

My mom went off with our extra tickets to get more food for later. (Me and my sister were already full.) And while we were waiting some firecrackers went off and a swarm of these little tiny bugs started flying our direction. So we moved. lol

The extra food we ate while we watched the fireworks at the lakeshore. (Yes, we had to walk all the way back again. But it was worth it with the great view.)

When we were heading back to our car, we spotted a little beach and decided to play around in the sand/water. xD Our mom didn't want us to swim so we kind of played in the water a little. (But I still got my shorts wet. Dx)

While we were driving home we saw a couple of fireworks still going off in some towns, good show. lol

All in all, it was a great day for me.
